"Behold, the days come, says YHWH Elohim, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the Word of YHWH." Amos 8:11 |

Courses offered through Mountlake College are given to advance learning and living for the Kingdom of Elohim. The objective of each course is to reverse the famine in the land of Torah and Messiah consciousness. True education comes about by experiencing YHWH and His Mashiyach through living according to His Word. We are obedient to the Word of YHWH, we focus on the character of Yeshua and we discipled in the Way of Mashiyach. The Word of YHWH and all Creation is extremely orderly and fine tuned, and so are we His children to be tuned to Him and His Word. The curriculum we offer is not about "theology" but about internal realization of who we are in Him. Lech Lecha was the call given to Avraham to "go to yourself", and realize the potential created by YHWH. Avraham was called to be tawmim (complete) and walk with YHWH as His intimate friend, this calling of intimacy is made to each soul in Mashiyach, this is the curriculum of our spiritual lives, for this reason Mountlake College exists. Teaching theology or commentary on primary Scriptural texts has very little potential to help us grow into the image of Elohim. Our personal growth is dependant upon obedience to the Word of YHWH and to seek Him as our Father, which means to seek His Counsel and hear from Him, this is Torah. Torah goes far beyond a set of rules and regulations into a direct hearing and doing according to discernment of the Ruach HaKodesh. One unique example of Torah being written upon our hearts is to personally hear and obey a directive for our own souls, for instance there is nothing wrong per se with having a drink of schnapps unless in your heart you know very well that this is something you have been directed by the Ruach HaKodesh NOT to do. This is YHWH's instruction in righteousness for you to walk in obedience to the authority of His Word. Making promises and keeping our word to YHWH and each other is vitally important to our testimony as followers of Yeshua, there is no theologian on earth able to convince a person to not exaggerate or lie because the basis of true Faith is a spiritual connection with YHWH, rather than a cerebral idea of how we should live. The Household of Faith is called to walk in truth and minister the Kingdom of Elohim to others, this is our goal.
