"Behold, the days come, says YHWH Elohim, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the Word of YHWH." Amos 8:11 |

The Ancient Paths of YHWH in FAITH COMMUNITY & STEWARDSHIP
Mountlake College is dedicated to providing practical Torah based education in the Kingdom of Elohim. We regard the Aramaic Peshitta Ketuvim Netzarim (writings of the Netzarim) as a reliable account of Yeshua Mashiyach's Teaching. Many are discovering the Language and Culture of Yeshua and His Disciples conveyed Ancient truths about the Kingdom of Elohim, that are not so readily available through the Greek language. The Dead Sea Scrolls also provide many insights into the original and ancient texts of the Jews. For those who care to live and learn the Kingdom of Elohim as understood by our forefathers, we join together as Kedoshim (Holy People) and "ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein," Jeremiah 6:16 Most of us have memories of being in Bible studies where we wanted to scream if someone repeated just one more time something we had known seemingly forever, and we've also been places of frustration because we simply could not grasp the ideas at the pace they were being presented. We also all appreciate what a difference it makes if we can work alone when we need space to pray, meditate and think things through by ourselves, or sometimes work it through in a group setting when we need "sounding boards". The faculty at Mountlake College is continually developing new strategies and techniques toward differentiated curriculum which includes tiered scope and sequence elements, instructional strategies, material selection, evaluation etc. The educator must facilitate rather than a rule over the class. Curriculum must not be about covering the facts but also discipleship, and encouraging our students to actualize their authority by the Ruach HaKodesh in Mashiyach. The goal is not only to design a multi-tiered lesson plan, but to enable the student to bring forth his or her own unique capabilities in Mashiyach Yeshua. We are focused on restoring the Hebrew and Aramaic Torah based values and teaching of Yeshua Mashiyach within the Kingdom of Elohim. As there is no credible evidence to support the idea of the "New Testament" coming from a Greek culture or Greek autograph, it is incumbent upon the Talmidim of Yeshua Mashiyach to continue in the values and teachings of Yeshua from the Hebraic Culture from which He came into the world. The Talmidim of Yeshua did not "backslide" into Hellenized pagan values, but gave "all diligence regarding our common salvation, and did earnestly contend for the Faith once delivered unto the saints." Our mandate is to seek and demonstrate the Kingdom of Elohim choosing to "come out of Babylon", and also choosing to avoid religious traditions and diversions that lead to backwards pagan thinking and living.
"The Torah of YHWH is Holy, Just and Good" according to Apostle Paul (Romans 7:12).
All who follow the One True Mashiyach also echo these same words. Yeshua brings Salvation, He is the Living Torah made manifest in the flesh, it is incumbent on us to ingest Torah deep into our souls. We study the Torah portion each week, we meditate on Scripture each day and we ask the Ruach HaKodesh to reveal Truth into our Neshama, helping us apply His Word to our lives. We place little attention upon labels, if we must choose a label it is that of Netzarim Yehudim or Netzarim Israelites. Apostle Paul was considered a "ringleader" of the Netzarim. The term Netzarim comes from Isaiah 11 referring to HaMashiyach and His Followers as the little sprouts of New Life bring forth the Kingdom of Elohim. We believe that the greatest and most profound education we can receive in this life, is to learn how to have a relationship with YHWH and His Mashiyach Yeshua. We do not have a code of doctrines one must adhere to, our codes are based solely on Torah and the Life of Yeshua Mashiyach.
